Here's The Story.......

It all stems back to '86 when 2 band mates, Scott Hunter and Jamie Schneider began their musical journey. Playing together in a cover act called "Profile" (which later became "The Game" in '92) seemed to develop a progressively popular following along the way for both their covers and their  originals. And, like any other band, they had their fair share of players. This led to the finding of their permanent and current drummer as well as good friend, Ron Hiegelsberger .

Time went on playing the bar circuit and opening for some of Canada's finest recording acts such as Pat Travers, David Wilcox, Honeymoon Suite and Kim Mitchell to name a few. It was anything and everything to just slip in as many originals as they could but the monotony of playing covers and record company turndowns started to dwindle down the drive of music the band worked so hard for.

It was not until an out of nowhere kick in the ass and wakeup call which began in 2000 that the meeting of Erin Cody (of Erin Cody and The Drum) who approached Scott Hunter in a club 1 week after seeing the band( The Game), seemed to spark an excitable interest which soon turned to a musical collaboration and friendship. Bringing one more important ingredient to the mix, Erin introduced Scott, Jamie and Ron to Ken Greer (lead guitar and original member of Canada's own Tom Cochrane and Red Rider) which led to an introduction of "Hunter" with a 3 song EP "The Man From Hunter" in 2001.

Radio play, local , national and overseas buzz came into play. With positive interest rising, steps were taken including the construction of a full blown studio, to create Hunter's first full length cd entitled "Hunter- Here and Now". From the start of the recording in 2003, the "Here and Now" cd gives a definitely clear indication that both the teamwork and collaboration of Erin Cody, Ken Greer, Scott, Jamie and Ron proved to be the most fitted for the 2004 debut and more to come.

As for now, the band is currently in rehearsal sessions for this years live dates (to be announced) and are in the process of shopping their product in both the North American and European markets.
